Writing - act out "How to" guide (This allows missing steps to be added). Rough drafts are due on Friday. We will have time on Wednesday in class to work on rough drafts. Each student is required to have at least 5 different sets of instructions to incorporate into his/her book.

Writing - The students are creating a How-to Guide to their houses. It is an exercise in writing detailed directions for others to follow. They need someone to follow their directions to make sure that no steps are left. Please follow the steps exactly as they are written (it can be entertaining). The students can then revise their writing to incorporate the necessary steps.

The Shakespeare Festival is coming soon (February 22)! Each student has a series of lines that she/he will need to memorize. I passed out the scripts today. Please help your child to learn the assigned lines. Information about costuming will be coming.
